Had to change my departure date this week, so been keeping a close eye on the tracker and the DHS wait times, they've increased the estimated wait time from 8-10 months to 9-12 months, sorry to p1ss on peoples chips if they've only just had the interview.

at least they are trying to be realistic in terms of waiting times. It’s worse when they say 4 to 6 months then it takes 9 to 10

Once had a serial client (referral source) who also was sent to secondary all the time even after adjusting to LPR. Once he naturalized as an AmCit he thought his problems would be over but no, secondary every time. Out of idle curiosity, he had me do a FOIA/PA request on his file. The response was heavily redacted on law enforcement grounds. In fact, the redactions were much more than what was disclosed. We never did figure out what the problem was. We knew that the Honolulu district of former INS believed there was visa fraud when I was initially hired. Won the exclusion case but the allegations kept coming back even to survive naturalization. Go figure.

Other than the tracker, where do you see the ARO wait times? ARO is known to be quite opaque on its processing. My legal brethren note that the publicly available e-mail for ARO is useless for getting a reply.

I didn't the last time I went to the US in 2022 ( first time entering) but I had a 6 month old baby and a 20 month old toddler so not sure if he took a look at us and thought it wasn't worth it

Lemonhead was referring to information from DHS, not the link posted. Do note that although ARO is part of DHS, it is located within CBP, not USCIS. As the participants in this thread are aware, there is no I-number form involved in a waiver application via a consular NIV application. Inasmuch as Canadian citizens do not go through a consulate for a visa and the concomitant waiver, they submit the application via an I-192 form which goes to ARO. Perhaps processing times for consular waivers can be extrapolated from the I-192 processing times. I don’t know.

quick question, what are the chances of TSA rejecting an individual with an approved waiver. I’m got my waiver approved but just want to know the chances of getting rejected at immigration in USA.

As to your first question, encounters with TSA will occur after admission to the United States. The primary purpose of TSA is airline safety which includes verification of identity. TSA is not an enforcement agency.

As to your second question, CBP has the authority to deny admission. Depending on the grounds, how this plays out can take on multiple flavors. The most benign is being allowed to withdraw your application for admission. Whether or not there is instead a formal proceeding, the reason for refusal governs whether one is referred to an Immigration Judge or is summarily removed. The process for requesting asylum need not be discussed here.

Chances? Depends upon the facts I guess.

I have moved the username column to just before the Interview date column. This might stop some of the fat-finger errors when users change other peoples dates by mistake.
