Collected my passport today, 5 year B1\2 but only 2 years on my C1\D (last time was 5) which means I'll have to apply for a new one again in about 14 months time.

Best of luck to all still waiting!

Congrats, and good luck with your next posting. Do they wait around for you or do you catch up somewhere?

Let’s hope Mr Trump does not change any laws on the waivers now… waited long enough to hear if it’s going to be a yes or no… if yes… for how long

Anyone had luck contacting the embassy on their application via the below email address for case status?Longer than 180 days

To request a case status update, please follow the instructions below. Please note that visa demand and email volumes are currently very high and a response might not be possible.

You can try, but they do say they don’t give updates on waivers, so unless you get to the point where you’ve gone over the quoted processing time, I wouldn’t expect any response.

What date did you send the police certificate etc to Dublin. I sent mine 2 weeks ago and received the automated response of it being sent off, takes approx 6 months….. I am curious when you received this mail as it looks like that’s the date processing in Dublin starts. Interview looks to be just a box ticking exercise unlike UK where they are allowed bring the docs etc to interview to speed up process!

I delivered my police cert on the day of interview. I was asked further question and needed to submit a letter, my CV and a subject access request. My interview was 27th of February or something like that. It took 4 weeks to go back and forth with the other info they requested. I'd say that probably pushed me back even more depending on when they submitted the waiver request. I assume it was either on the 24th or 25th of March... I should probably count from this day, not the actual interview day. In two weeks time it will be 9 months. There's me thinking Dublin would have less processing time ... I remain optimistic.

Wow 9 months is an extremely long time. Blimey if it’s resources that’s the issue maybe start charging more I personally wouldn’t mind giving extra upfront outlay if it meant the process would be quicker.

Hope you get sorted soon.
