Default NO Response from USCIS for already submitted Additional Evidence

Mine is a Naturalization case. Interview held on Aug.17, 2006. Civic & History Test Cleared.

Received NOID January 27, 2007 with regard to Continuous Residence. Submitted Required Additional Evidence on Feb.12, 2007.

Contacted USCIS Help line & Congressman. Stereotype reply, Case under Review, Contact after six months.

USCIS is to respond within Two months after receiving Additional Evidence. Statutory Rules

Six Months have lapsed, NO Response.

Please suggest other options without Court proceedings.

Thanks.

Make an Infopass appointment at your local district office, and make an inquiry in person.

I had gone and seen them through InfoPass in June 2007. They said that the additional evidence has not yet been reviewed.

Please suggest other alternatives to adjudicate additional evidence.

I can't think of anything else except consulting with an attorney to see what he would suggest....perhaps an attorney can think of something we laymen can't.

If USCIS is supposed to provide a benefit within a published time frame, and they have not, you have the right to sue them. But that would probably mean court procedings, and for some reason you don't want that. So...I can't think of anything else except asking an immigration attorney what to do.

That was over 2 months ago... stop living in the past. Go again.
