Someone here may answer, however if you have not been there yet, may I suggest the
premier Philippine site: http://www.mag-anak.org Suggest getting on their mailing
list or messageboard and you should find out a whole lot of PI-specific info.

My fiancee was told the packet 3 was not important. She too the NOA 2 approval and
all of her papers to St. Lukes and they did the medical. We are waiting for our
approval to arrive at the embassy. When it is in the computer then St. Lukes will
submit our papers and we will have VISA in 7-10 days. Also calling 909 number every
three days to check on entry of approval in embassy computers.
I heard it is taking 2 months for approvals now to be entered into the Embassy. Speed
up one part and slow down another .. what sense is this ..
Our 2 months is 22 July, approval TSC was 22 MAY 2001. Expect VISA complete by 2 Aug,
going to buy a ticket soon.
Good luck Robyn and Evelyn

If what I read earlier you need to wait until you get the packet from Manila as you
turn in all the forms at the St Lukes when you take the physical and no longer
require an interview but also I do know you wont get the one form until you pay the
fee at the BPI and they will give you the form and stamp it fee paid. I am not yet
positive on the interview this is what I read earlier in the news group here I know
my fiance is getting all her papers ready just in case for either one but she is now
waiting on the packet if I ever get approval from Texas. Last month they approved
someone 2 days after I sent mine in so I am still waiting..

Alvena, the maganak isn't that well informed. Actually I found out the news about K1
in Manila Philippines from other message board. This was 2 weeks ago from other
american poster. The US consulate, in Manila didn't give out this information until
someone that works inside the US consulate Manila leak the information, They started
calling to confirm it. It's better to call the US consulate in Manila than relying to
this so called informative homepages. Up to this very day I check the US
conuslate,Manila, they haven't posted anything about the "no more interview" For all
of you reading this, if you need an information or questions about the visa for your
fiancee, call the US consulate in Manila. Good luck to you all.
