Default Lost H4 Approval notice

Hi,

I'm about to apply for I-485 for myself and my husband
through my company, but a couple of days ago we discovered that 2 of
my husband's
H4 approval notices are missing. I was told by my lawyer that we need
to furnish all approval notices
to file for I-485, but now I don't know what to do.

1) Is it possible to get a copy of the past approval notices from
USCIS? If so, how long will it take? Given that we have a deadline
of 06/30/2007 to file for I-485, I dont think it would be a feasible
soultion at the moment. Pls advice
2) Can we use any other way to prove that my husband never went out of
status? - for example he has a visa stamping
for that period and also has a I-94 card that states the validity
period.

Thanks Much

Your attorney should have them??? Kick up a fuss and demand to know why they havent got them. If you've changed attorneys through the process then get onto the previous firm. God these people are such charlatans (attorneys that is).

your husband has the valid I-94 and that is enough for filing his fil I-485. file his I-485 with copy of his valid I-94 (front and back) all the past H4 approval notices are not needed.
