list of acronyms
Will someone who wants to spend the time or conveniently already has a
list, please post a list of acronyms and their meanings. NOA, RFE, AOS,
etc. I think it would help a lot of people.

It would a lot less energy wasted if people didn't feel the need to make
posts such as these.
It would be a lot more convenient and useful for a newsgroup to
self-contain it's own list. Could you not agree to this?

Even if a complete list of acronyms is listed here there would still be a
great number of people who wouldn't be able to read it. I have always
espoused the belief that if you do a good consientious search on your own
you would learn more compared to when informations are just spoon fed.
What an acronym really mean is more important than what each individual
letter stands for.

any answer here could be 'go and search google', but this is a message board that provides information - even the most basic.
i'm just wondering if it's the whole immigration process that is making some people uptight.

I think most of the time it is. I also think it is because some people
are so well educated about the subject it sounds dumb to ask certain
questions or even suggest what I suggested..?
