Interview scheduling wait times?
Hi everyone, I have a question about how long wait times can be after a person
notifies the consulate that they have all their papers ready and are finally
ready for the (K1) interview.
I'm wondering, because my fiance faxed the sheet to the consulate saying she is
now ready for the interview. This was a few days ago, and the sheet says she
should get a response back from the consulate in about two weeks as to when her
interview will be scheduled.
It would be nice to have some idea now as to how long other people here have
had to wait after notifying the consulate in their country to get interviews
scheduled.

In what country?
I think in Paris it was about a month or a little less between our
notification that we were ready and the interview.

Re: Interview scheduling wait times?
That was faster than we thought it would be. My fiance recieved the notice
from the consulate yesterday when her interview would be- May 25th. That date
is about a month after she sent in the form requesting an interview.
Glad to know we will finally be able to make some solid travel plans!

Thing do move quickly and more smoothly once you deal with the consulate
(usually).
Good luck.
