Ingo, Please Help!!! Name diffrent on passport from 485 approval
My wife has only single name in her passport "Sarrika". All her H4 Visa and I-94
docs were under name Sarrika, FNU. (FNU stands for First Name Undefined). We filed
her I-485 under her maiden name "Sarrika Dhaliwal" and is approved. Now I am
planning to go for passport stamping. Should I change her name on the passport to
her maiden name?
Also, her EAD, SSN and State ID is under maiden name, "Sarrika Dhaliwal".
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why did you do that? All that matters is her current legal name. I'm not sure what to
do at this point, but I'd expect an interview based on the discrepancy. You should be
able to explain the situation at that point, and I don't expect that in the end, it
won't be a big problem. Just make sure to in the future use the correct legal name.
