Group, I have been having high hopes about the Fiancee visa Interview. As you can imagine,
we are getting everything in order as best as we can given instructions, my Internet
homework, and phone calls to embassy with a few questions. I am wondering this. My Fiancee
has no criminal record, she is healthy, has good records of her talents, abilities, school
and work history, Has all papers in order. ( hopefully we have that police report now too
). If we go to Interview together and for some reason get a denial for something less than
trivial, as per paperwok missing a signature, or something.... etc... What can be done?
Does one file an appeal and correct the peoblem? Does one start all over. Is the case
closed permenantly? What can we do? Knowing the steps to take in worst case senerio helps
me sleep at night while I wait. Any feedback?

I am only reading this post and I can hear your knees knocking. Are you sure you want to
go to the Embassy ? You must take up smoking or chewing something to chill you out.
r-e-l-a-x.

Search this newsgroup for the word "denial" or the phrase "visa denial" and read all the
posts. If you are a coffee/tea drinker, quit. Take up something that is a surefire downer,
something that can keep you drowsy until after the consular interview. There is also a
la-di-dah description of how Timothy goes in for a non immigrant visa gets denied and
later goes back with more evidence and gets approved in the visa link of www.state.gov .

mmmmm...Knowing more makes you sleep at night ? We have a guy in this ng called vision67
-- look for his posts -- he specialises in knowing more and preparing for the
WC-scenario (not diarrhia!). I would prescribe quiet nights in the arms of Rosie
Scenario -and if you need chemical help, go for it.

Thank you for the reply, I did not mean I could not literally sleep. I am wondering what
to do in the case of a denial. I am not knee knocking, actually I am confident. I really
do want to cover all the bases. I do not want anything to happen that I am not prepaired
for, if I can do some fore thought and be ready. So I wonder about what to do in that
case. Do you file an appeal? Do you start all over? Or is the case closed completely? Do
you do something at the embassy that same day? Just wondering. I much rather go there one
time and be finished with that step.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Do the searches I had suggested already. Browse the links provided in this newsgroup
for the K-1 process - by Jonathan and Alvena. Read the K-1FAQ completely. You will know
what to do.

Marc,

What is to be done in the case of a denial depends on the reason for the denial. Most of
your questions cannot be answered in advance. If you are properly prepared for the
interview, and your description of what you've done makes it sound as though you are
properly prepared, there will be no denial.

If you want to prepare for something, and you're confident that you're done preparing for
the interview, start preparing for the trip back to the US.

Regards, JEff there are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots
