That's true. But whenever the OP is qualified to file an N-400, he can do so, even if the I-751 is not yet adjudicated.

Perhaps not at this time. I'm just saying that "whenever" the OP does meet the requirements, the N-400 can be filed, even if the I-751 is not yet adjudicated. That might be next year, or it might be 5 years from now.

I understand that, but the suggestion that posters are making the filing N-400 in order to force adjudication of the I-751 is of no value if the OP is not presently eligible to file N-400.

Being able to file N-400 some time in the future does not help the OP get the I-751 processed today.
