Is I-864 need for AOS under Cuban Adjustment Act?
My ex-wife came over on a K-3 and is now applying to adjust status under the
Cuban Adjustment Act. An I-864 came with her I-485 packet, but I don't think
she needs a sponsor. Anyone well informed about this? Your help would be
appreciated. Thanks.

The public charge grounds of inadmissibility do not apply to persons
adjusting status under the 1966 Cuban Adjustment Act. Therefore, I
would think that an affidavit of support would not be required.
