How long on tourist visa from UK
How long can you stay in USA on a UK tourist visa is it 90 days or can you
get longer.
And how long do you have to be out of USA before you can return. The reason
for this question is that I want to purchase a second home in USA.

Re: How long on tourist visa from UK
90 days will work for a visa waiver--that's the form you fill out on
the plane--if you plan to stay for longer then you need to get a
B1/B2 visa from the US embassy on London..you'll get 6 months when you
enter the US , which you should be able to extend if need be, once in
the US.
Obviously if you habitually spend more than 6 months a year in the US,
you'll eventually get told that you need a more permananent type of
visa, like for example an E2 investor visa..most brits who plan to
live in Florida go for this visa, you basically need to buy a business
and can then obtain a permanent type of visa to run it.
