Default How long to GC after fingerprinting and EAD?

Guys,

I'm from the UK and in the EB2 category and applied for my AOS at the
beginning of March and received my application receipt notice mid
March.

I have had my fingerprinting done and also received my EAD card.

Does anyone have any idea how much longer it will take to receive the
I485 approval notice? My AOS is being done at Texas.

Thanks,

Dave.

You can follow the progress here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp

The TSC is currently processing I-485 applications with a receipt date of
Sept. 2006.

It's also worth checking out trackitt - there's a number of people there showing file dates about the same as you - you get to see when they are approved etc

Hi bubblegrass,
I am currently preparing documents for EB2. Could you give me the document check list that you submitted when you applied? How long you have to wait till you got the EB2 gc? With WIV or not? I am applying for WIV

Thanks, Windy

Sorry but you won't get an accurate answer to your question, only some guidlelines.

My AOS from L1A took about a year and I think I was fairly lucky. It was done through the Texas Service Center and I checked almost weekly to see how they were doing with the processing dates. They were very close to taking a month to close a months shift in the date, i.e., I would check the processing date and it might say processing with receipt notice date of 22nd May 2005, I would check a month later and it would say processing with a date of 22nd June. If they are maintaining the same pace, it would appear that the date for I485 at Texas is September 11th 2006 so you have another 6 months to wait if all goes well. However, your application will not be approved until the FBI Name check is complete and that appears to be a complete lottery. It held up my approval by only a couple of months. They report that most FBI name checks are completed within 90 days but there is no guarantee.

Hello Windy,

I don't have a checklist, as it took a while to prepare and the
company lawyers would just request what they needed. It did seem that
they wanted everything under the sun though.

I haven't got my green card though a colleague who applied just a 6
weeks before me got his about a month ago. Though another colleague
who applied in January hasn't received it yet. It does seem as
everyone says just a matter of sitting quietly and trying to deal with
the stress.

Sorry I don't have more to tell you.

Dave.
