How do I bring mother in law over here?
Hi my husband now has his green card, our AOS sucessful and we are now
married over three year. We would love to bring his mother over here
to live with/near us. She is alone there without other family. She is
on a fixed disability from Denamrk that will travel with her.
Thanks, Pat

Unfortunately, your husband will have to wait till he gets his
citizenship before he can apply for his mother.

He will have to become citizenship to sponsor her.
The basic requirements to file
1. Permanent Resident for 3 years (less 90 days)
2. Married and living with US citizen spouse for 3 years (no 90 day
discount)
3. No visits outside of the US for more than 6 months
4. Total time of not more than 18 months out of US in that 3 years.
The "Guide To Naturalization" at www.immigration.gov is a good resource
for this.
