H1B as a MCSE or as an ACCOUNTANT
Hello,
I want to get H1B visa.
My sponsor is my family in USA. He is a civil engineer and owns a
company.
I live in Iran. I have MCSE certification from Microsoft Corp.
Also I have a bachelor in Business Management from a university (Four
years university).
I have been working as an Accounting Manager and Computer Specialist
for 9 years. (Both position at the same time for all the years)
My question is that would my sponsor apply for a MCSE specialist with
experience or apply for an accountant to enable me to apply visa?
Please lead me easiest way. Should I apply for as a computer
specialist or as an accountant?
There is no problem for me to get my experience as any of the above
position.
Thanks

The MCSE is worth absolutely nothing. In fact the MCSE can do you more
harm than good in the eyes of the INS if you were a computer specialist
or systems analyst.
The job you are to do must be sufficiently complex to require a
bachelors degree to be eligible for an H1B and you must have the
education or combination of certifiable education and experience to
equate to the required bachelors degree.
You cannot simply cook the job title ... the duties must fit the
requirements.
You and the family employer need to talk with an immigration attorney to
see if the job they are offering is in fact eligible and that your
education could be eligible for the duties.
