H1 & H4 stamping appointment: Should all members of the family be present?
Hi,
I just booked an appointment in Dec at Chennai consulate for stamping my H1
and H4 for my wife and 2 kids (age 9 & 11).
My question is should all 4 of us be present at the consulate or just my
wife and myself?
Will we be interviewed together? I got only 1 appointment slot.
Also should I have to take 4 sets of copies of all documents ( 1 set per
passport) or is set for H1 and 1 set for H4 be enough?
thanks
G

Better safe than sorry, bring the kids, too. As long as they are not to
stressful to have around ;-) Usually, they only want to interview
applicants over 12 years.

I don't know, but would assume so.

Same answer as above: better safe than sorry. Photocopies are cheap. In
practical terms, though, you probably only need one set that would be
shared between all four of you.
