No worries. However, this does underscore the importance of people doing their own research and learning about the processes rather than simply relying on what they're told - by attorneys, by US government workers, or anyone in this forum.

I agree. I have no doubt that an attorney on the East coast may have a different view to the one I have spoken to (paid for by my soon to be ex company).
