green card holder. Tax problem, please help
I hope somebody can help me on this.
Im a green card holder temporarily outside the US on a reentry
permit.
I stupidly followed wrong advice and in 2005 I didnt file my tax
return (federal
and State). I didn't have any US income for 2004 so I didn't owe any
money,
but now Im very concerned about the repercussions on my immigration
status.
What should I do?
thank you very much.

Call the IRS. They have a 1 800 number and explain to them the
situation.
They are well-positioned to tell you what to do.

As a resident you file US taxes on worldwide income. So you can go to the IRS website and file the 2004 taxes now.
