Just to let you know, Mickey received his two year green card in the mail
yesterday. We did walk-in AOS on Aug 16 in Detroit. Looks like Nebraska is
doing something. Now, if they'd only work on those I-129's.

Could you explain what walk-in AOS is please? I live in Dallas where the Texas
service centre is based - does this mean I can take my documents straight there
for AOS after I'm married?

Detroit offers same-day AOS for K-1 adjustment applicants - that's what she
means. Dallas used to as well (note I am referring to the Dallas *local* INS
office which is where you'll file, *not* the service center in Mesquite
where the I-129F was sent) but latest news is they have stopped doing this
