Got my GC today...
So I got my Green Card today. Not bad considering I applied for AOS in June... last year. Not sure how much longer it would have taken if I hadn't contacted my Senator's office and they leaned on them a bit. It's also a bit frustrating as I had paid for EAD renewal and only got three days use from it.
I do have a question though, the date on the card is when I had the interview back in November, so in effect it's only a year until it expires. But I thought the date was based on when it was approved? So it's a bit confusing. But it does mean I only have to wait a year until I file the I-751.

I'm going to look on the O-man's page for you later...
Congratulations & Welcome to America, nonetheless!
(I-751 should be filed in the 90 days before the 2nd anniversary of your PR status, aka the 90 days before your card expires. --I wonder if it wasn't sitting in the mail room at your Service Center all this time--- Anyway, you want to *confirm* what your 'Resident Since' date actually is. It's been known for the card to be wrong but impossible to tell what's happened with your case)

Evidently you were approved back in November, so that's cool. Congratulations!

Re: Got my GC today...
It is strange, but I have called the disinformation line as well as had an Infopass appointment, to find out what was going on (maybe 6 weeks ago was the last time), and they said then it was waiting to be approved. In fact, I only had the biometrics a week last Monday, and I was told at the time it would be approved after that. So the date does seem strange.
