Congrats!

Btw, is there any info about when selected applicants in certain regions start getting their notification letters?

So just wanted to ask, I fill in what they have sent me,and photos back to Kentucky, then what happens next, I will sort out my documents for the poss. interview.

But just wanted to find out from you lot what happens and what to expect later on.

I qualify as a Occ. Health and Safety Specialist and have the needed experience and it is rated as required.

Any help as always greatly appreciated indeed...
Congratulations!!! I hope everything goes well for you in the following months. Please keep us updated - I'm waiting (impatiently) for DV210 news. Fingers crossed to everyone on the forum who's waiting this year too!

Your police certs should all be valid for one year from issue, so you can get them started. Especially if you need one from a place you are not living currently.

That should get you started.

You will get the second package sent out to you As soon as your number is current. As I said in a recent post, you can probably expect your second letter in March. As it happens though there is nothing in the second letter that you really need. The most important thing is for you to keep an eye on the Visa bulletin ever 12/15th of the month and when your number is current you can organise your medical and call to find out your interview date.

The latest you can enter is the end of October 2010, anyway. So anything with a 12-month expiration date can be ordered after November 2009 whether they've contacted you or not.

Thanks... I realized after starky's post that I didn't calculate the PD factor.

Having checked the bulletin board it is saying that most regions are current for June 2009, so the wait continues...

Aslo I discovered a major cock-up with the DS-230 part 1 form, I didn't sign it and neither did my wife with hers, I have contacted the Kccdv and informed them about this so I await their reply, is this a biggy to worry about or can I send them a signed one from the copies I made, always something...

Thanks all...

Right I am going to sound like a teacher now, but I did already tell you to triple check the forms: :-)

I have seen this over and over and over, winners get into a panic and fill in the forms totally wrong. the DV does not even open till October so there is really no rush to send the forms back in. Not to worry, you can just resubmit any updated forms, its not a big deal. At least you made copies, which is something people always forget to do, make a photocopy of your copies and sign them and send them in, that should be fine. :-)

I know you did and I thank you for that, they have replied, and I have e-mailed the corrected copies to them, including the barcode sheet, but they said they couldn't tell me about my case until I supplied my case number, did that... full name, did that...and date of birth, opppss.

So have sent reply and hopefully early next week I will get some info, soon as I hear you lot will too...
