the mom of my cousin has lodged application in jan2003 as F2B CATEGORY(unmarried son of PR OF USA).he is from india .acc. to visa bulletin f2b is being processed in 15 november 2000. pls tell me visa waiting time. pls tell roughly estimate how much time has left .because he is very frustrated

Surely if they're current processing applications from Nov 00 then that means there's approx a 8.5 year wait at the moment? Although obviously the wait may get shorter or longer before his is looked at, nobody can tell him for sure.

But that would give him a rough idea anyway, going on current rates it would appear he's got approx 3 years left to go.

You have already noted that they are processing from November 2000... that's about 2.5 more years *IF* one day in real time equals one day in immigration processing time. That is *not* the case however, so it could take another 4 or 5 years.


There is *no* way to know - it might be 4 years, it might be 6 years, it might be 2 years. It is impossible to know... because you do not know how many people are in line ahead of him.
