from F2 to H1B
Hi,
I wrote a few days earlier on a different topic. Anyway i would like to
begin the process of getting a work permit which i know could be
difficult in my circumstances. I am currently on an F2. I am having a
tough time finding a corporate sponsor. Do people normally go through
agents and how much would this cost? also how do i find a reputable
agent?
thanks,
Maria

"Agents" or head hunters should be free for the applicant; the employer
pays those fees. If you are asked to pay a fee, run away; those are
almost always useless (if not worse).
Basically, your job hunting is not much different from anybody else's
job hunting. It is currently quite difficult even for American citizens,
and doubly so because your employer couldn't hire you until October 1
anyway.
