Hello All:

My name is Shani and I'm from Pakistan. My F1 visa application was rejected last
january under section 221(g). I took Bank Certificate saying US$29,000 as my balance,
but the visa officer rejected my application as according to him they need Bank
Statement not the certificate of closing balance.

I got I-20 with one year expenses of around US$18,000. My TOEFL score was 633.

I'm applying for M.S. in Computer Sciences.

My previous degree is an M.B.A in International Business - '99. Before that I did
Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) with Maths & Physics as majors. Currently I'm running my
business since 1995.

Now I've got one month bank statement of US$24,000. I've applied again and I think
I'll have to appear in an interview.

What sort of Questions Should I expect in the interview?

Any Advices.

Regards,

Shani :O)

How do you intend to pay educational & living expenses with $24K? ($24K will barely
pay 2 years' rent in a bad NYC neighborhood).

Or do you really intend to come here to work, rather than further your ed?
