Hello there, I got my employment based permenent residence (green card) a couple of
months ago. I also got married in India just before I got my permanent residence
visa. So I applied for my wife's green card when I went to the consulate for my
interview. They said that her interview will be scheduled 2-3 months later. Her
interview date is in next month. However a couple of months after returning to US, I
got laid of by my company. I have found a new job. However, when my wife goes for her
interview to the consulate, what affidavit of support & employment letter does she
need to carry? Should she carry my new company's employment letter or my old company
employment letter? Does she need to take the affidavit of support with my new company
name or does she need to carry the affidavit of support with my old company name on
it? Please advise. Thanks, -Suresh
