Default Emigrating to the US

Sorry if this has been posted before but I am new to the group, so Hi!! I am looking at the possibility of emigrating to the US at the start of next year, specifically Boston, in order for me to do this, I am just wondering what will be required for this to happen and work out there. Look forward to hearing from you!

I am a business graduate in the UK for reference and a Procurement Specialist currently.

welcome to BE

I suggest you take a read through the following. If you fit into one of the categories, you just may be in with a chance of living in the US.

JG has provided the relevant link. If you do not fit into one of these specific categories, you will not be moving to the US.

Despite it's reputation as 'Land of the Free' the US is actually extremely difficult in which to get a visa to live and work.

Sounds like you need an Employer who will sponsor you for a work visa.

Through work, given what you have said next year is not a likely timeline. For context I had a similar idea aged 21, I stuck at it and moved here about 10 years later. Your best bet is finding a job with an employer that is owned by a US company or has offices there and work to acquire specialized knowledge or be promoted to senior managment and then have them transfer you.
