EAD Doc necessary? I-130 approved and just need to AOS
Hey Newsgroup:
My wife entered the USA last month on a K-3 visa. Also got the notice from the INS
that our I-130 petition was approved last month. Now just need to AOS to get the
green card. Is there any reason we should shell out a $120.00 for the EAD? seems kind
of pointless since the I-130 was approved and we will AOS to get her green card
anyway. Anyone have any advice?
Thanks, Scott

Well, if she wants to work, then you will need to file for the EAD when you file the
AOS. She cannot work without an EAD until she gets a green card stamp or card.
