E3 Eligibility
My question is would a Marketing Manager be considered a speciality occupation?
While I don’t have a degree, I have 11 years of work experience in the field together with my Advanced and Associate Diplomas in Business (Marketing) and a Certificate IV in Business (Sales and Marketing).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: E3 Eligibility
Thanks, I had found that information after visiting the Canberra site and believe Marketing Manager fits the bill. I was hoping somebody may have entered under E3 in that position and could give me some extra advice.
I am concerned if my qualifications would meet the requirements of a four year bachelor's degree. I would like to think they do, of course, utilising the 3 for 1 rule but not sure how much weight the Diploma's carry.

Easy way to find out - apply for an education/work experience equivalency report. I used www.trustfortecorp.com
The issue for you is not so much about your experience, but whether the position of "marketing manager" REQUIRES a bachelor degree as a minimum educational requirement.

Overall Experience A minimum of two to four years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations. For example, an accountant must complete four years of college and work for several years in accounting to be considered qualified.
Job Training Employees in these occupations usually need several years of work-related experience, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training.
Job Zone Examples Many of these occupations involve coordinating, supervising, managing, or training others. Examples include accountants, human resource managers, computer programmers, teachers, chemists, and police detectives.
SVP Range (7.0 to < 8.0)
Education Most of these occupations require a four - year bachelor's degree, but some do not.
I wonder if the title of Marketing Director or General Manager - Marketing would carry more weight.
