Default Dependents of prospective L-1A: When to apply for the L-2

Folks,

Just a quick question, I have my visa appointment scheduled for next week –L-1A, intra-company transfer. Everything is in order (I think!):
1) Form I-129S (3 originals);
2) Letter of Support (3 originals);
3) Form I-797, Photocopy of Blanket L-l Petition Approval with the long list of affiliates (3 copies);
4) DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form, completed online; and
5) Passport-sized photographs

The question is, can my family apply for the L-2 at the same time or do they have to wait until I get my L-1?

I hope above makes sense.

Thanks in advance for your guidance in this matter.

P.S: yes, I can consult with the attorney but the ‘bored’ is addictive

Have you done steps 4 and 5 for all of you, or just yourself?
