My husband and I have been offered jobs by our company's US branch in Florida, and
they have applied for our work permits (L1 visa) on our behalf (our company head
office is in the UK). The application was sent to the Texas processing centre at the
beginning of June but we have not heard anything since, not even an AOR. I have heard
that there is a delay in processing immigration applications in this office, due to
the sheer amount of applications. Is this true and how long should we expect to wait?
We were planning to move mid-September. Is this realistic?
