definite I-485 interview date (SF)?

Today I picked up my Advance Parole document from the SF INS district office. (I'd filed
it along with I-485 two weeks ago). I'd asked for multiple-entry permission with no
specific travel dates. The woman issuing the document said that was fine, but cautioned me
not to travel around July - August because that's when my GC interview would happen. To
enforce that, she issued Advance Parole, multiple entries, until 31 Aug 01, and re-assured
me that since I would get the GC stamp in my passport shortly thereafter, I would still be
able to travel after August.
Do they really know at this point, with such accuracy, when my interview will be? Amazing,
but somehow I'm skeptical...
