Im scheduled for the interview on June 5th. Anyone knows if they provide
oath ceremony the same day? I st theer a chance that you can request
oath ceremony for July 4th ?


PS. it will be about 5 months between receipt of N400 and the interview

The oath ceremony in Dallas is *NOT* the same day as the appointment. Sometime after the interview, you will be sent a letter notifying you of the date of your ceremony. It is unlikely to be within one month; two or three months is more likely (in my case, interview was February 12th, oath ceremony April 4th). I do not believe you can make any requests as to the date; it happens when it happens.

Hi,

The oath ceremony will not be given on same day as interview. They usually schedule that close to your hometown where there will be more than one person being sworn in. Each place is different. If I remember correctly, my interview was in Sept, and my oath ceremony was in April. I had applied through Dallas, which transfers everything for me to Memphis, where the interview was and my oath ceremony was in Greenville, TN.
