CSC and I-751,s
Well,
I decided to email CSC last night using the address that June posted,
guess what....it is still 'pending' but they did give me the same
advice as Rete about the Infopass.
Back to waiting patiently.

Hi Denis,
What exactly did the e mail say that they sent you? Did it have a name of a USCIS officer at the bottom of the e mail?
Mine did. Look forward to hearing back from you.

Re: CSC and I-751,s
I got a similar email a little while back, Denis. My wife and I filed back on 6/15/06 and got an RFE for pictures in December. We're not hitting the panic button by any means...just wondering what's up over there at CSC. It'd be nice to know what dates they're actually working on; I was thinking it was somewhere around June (the month) as several on here who filed around that time haven't heard yet. It appears June (the poster) has finally gotten them to process her case though (filed in August), and the website says they're working on October (really??). How the heck to they figure out their processing times anyway? That October date seems WAAAAY off to me. Oh well...nothing to do but sit back, have a drink, and enjoy life. We'll have to make in InfoPass appt to extend my wife's gc if we don't hear in a month or so, I guess.

The main part of the message said:-
>Your I-751 petition is currently pending. You will be notified by mail
>when a decision has been made on your case.
And it was signed(?) by someone named :-
Helen Andrews
Immigration Information Officer
I'll just go back into wait mode for now. I'll start worrying when the
expiration of my extension gets close (9/18/06)

I filed in June too but I filed right at the start of the 90 days
before period so my extension letter expires on 9/18/06 so I have
another 5 months before I need to panic!
Maybe the difference is that June did not get an RFE and we did.
There was no requirement to submit photographs when I applied and I
think that was why the RFE was sent.
I'm about to have myself a nice bottle of Grolsch... cheers!

Re: CSC and I-751,s
Hello everyone.
I did the same thing send an email to CSC. To my astonishment Helen Andrews
as you mentioned above replied. I said to myself WOW someone actually takes
the time and replies to emails immpresive. But i came back here and what do
you know i see the Helen Andrews name again. So now my bubble is burst Helen
might just be a computer reply to our messages. There is still mistery to
Helen, she knew the date of my receipt. I wonder can Helen match names with
A#'s or receipt numbers and know the date? I wish i could meet Helen.
Anywas just a few not known details about the all powerful Helen.

Hi Denis & Everyone,
A Helen Andrews, Immigration Information Officer also replied to me both times. On 4/25/06 I requested status on our jointly filed I-751 and she responsed that a final decision was made on our I-751. Notification of approval was mailed on 4/24/06. The e mail goes on to say that if we did not send in photos and a current CRI-89 card is not on file then we will need to go to our nearest USCIS office with your passport and two recent photographs to fill out a CRI-89 Adit card. It also says that you should not travel outside of the United States before you receive your new alien registration card unless you have received a passport endorsement from the Service. It also says that we may visit there infopass website to make an appointment with the district office.
Then yesterday, 4/27/06 I e mailed the CSC again asking how long will it take for us to receive the approval letter. I also requested confirmation that the letter was mailed to our correct home address. Once again Helen Andrews e mailed me back with a short e mail that said,"give it 5-7 days & we mailed it to XXXXXXXXXX" basically our correct address.
Yes we do live in California, San Diego area to be exact.
Look forward to hearing back from all of you.

P.S. We did not submitt photos either because it was not a requirement at the time we originally filed our I-751 on 8/17/05.

Hi Everyone,
I went to my mailbox today, 4/28/06 & there was my husbands approval letter from USCIS regarding the removal of conditions on his permanent resident status. It instructs us to go to the local office which is given on the letter, with passport & three passport style photos to have the new GC processed. This is what we will do.
