Default CSC approval of I-751(AMAZED to say the list)

I have generally been very lucky in my dealings with USCIS during my
immigration rollercoaster. This last experience though has been the topping
of the cake.
I filed for removal of the conditions on my US residency on January 23. On
February 2 i received a a confirmation letter and my residency being extended
for a year( traveling and work authorization).
So at that time the waiting game began. I figured after reading many forums
and past experences from people that it would take at list 6 to 8 months. To
my astonishment and joy my wife walked in this evening with my approval
letter. 3 months i am amazed and cant belive it took such short time. It does
verify though that the dates posted on the USCIS website are unreliable as
CSC is only proccesing applications for the month of october 2005.
I dont know if its just my luck but i would like to belive its not just that,
I would like to believe that there is some hard working people at the CSC
making a difference. As hard as that might seem with government bureaucracy.
I now have to wait till January again and apply for my citizenship. I cant
wait, the trip has been long but fruitful and at the end of every trip that
is all that matters.
Best of luck to all of you and may your long wait become fruitful.
Regards
Euripidi

Congrats Euripidi.

Did the letter instruct you to go to the local office to process greencard,
or since you already sent two pictures, they will mail you the greencard. I
sent my I-751 with a receipt date of Feb 22, 2006 to CIS. Your case has given
me hope. Did you send any special documents?

Good luck with Citizenship.

Hi Euripidi,

Congratulations. What did the approval letter look like? Was it on plain white paper? My husband's approval letter from the CSC for his I-751 was on plain white paper. He received it last Friday. Look forward to hearing back from you.

Fondly
June

That's strange. If you read the previous posts, there are a number of
people who has a receipt date of last year October or early and still
are waiting.

I wonder if California center got so behind in I751 that all newer
applications are delegated to different section, which happened
processes quicker.

I think the quick processing has to do with lifting of conditions with out
interview. Those waiting from June probably will face an interview some point
in time

I really dont know Templar its possible they got over loaded and delegated
some of their work but it seems unlikely because So. Cal is a pretty big
place and a lot of immigrants come from here which needs a lot of personel to
deal with the load. Just speculating.
