Change of role on l1b
My employer has undergone a few changes recently and my job role has changed in that I no longer manage the team I originally did and my responsibilities have changed. Do I need to inform uscis if my employer won’t? Do I risk my visa being retracted?

I think you would do well to speak to an immigration attorney here before you do anything. My instinct would be yes and yes, but again I would seek advice before making any moves.

I had something similar when I was on L1-B, if your job changes and responsibilities you HAD when you were issued your L1 are removed, your employer must adjust the petition on your behalf. If you gain responsibilities on top of the original responsibilities, you are fine. At least that's how Fragomen advised me.
Interesting that you were managing a team and yet they petitioned for a -B rather than an -A, but that's another discussion.

I changed job under same employer once and job duty are different. Legal team checked and compared the duty and responsibility carefully to make sure the skill acquired overseas is still applicable to new position.
For sure, you need to contact your legal team first.
