Was that at an airport? I was told that was OK, but that at Bowling Green NYC you need an appointment to get in the building.

For the OP, having GE other than saving time is great if you decide to remain resident and commute as you won’t have any human Nanking small talk or asking questions.

Yup, it was at JFK. I managed to do it on my way to catch a (domestic) flight. I was worried this was a terrible idea, so gave myself a whole extra hour. In the end it was super-quick, so I ended up having time for a proper dinner
