Hi! I just want to know if, it matters that I've received government help in the past, now
I am recently working and also have an affidavit sponser could I be approved my k-1
petition? if anyone can give me any idea will be appreciated!!!! thanks!!!!!

Your current work will speak well for you, and this should give you a good chance to get

i was in similar circumstances (had been disabled for three years, was back at work for
about a year), and the subject never came up at all. there was no rfe on the i-129f, and
when we abandoned it in favor of dcf, the officials at the consulate didn't say anything
about it at the interview. i noted on the i-864 where it asks about means-tested programs
that i had been on food stamps and medicaid in 97, 98, and part of 99, but that was never
mentioned, either.
they seemed very interested in my current pay stubs and my 99 return; ymmv since i didn't
have a cosponsor.
