Default Boston office closed without prior notice

hi,

i went to the Boston BCIS office yesterday, july 17 at around 10.45am.

at the entrance of the building, the security officer asked my
intention for entering the building. i said that i wanted to go to the
BCIS office. he asked whether i have an appointment. i replied no.

he said that the boston office was closed both yesterday and today.
yesterday cause they have some training according to the security guy.

what gets to me is that everytime i enter the building, i am always on
the look out for notices for office closings. there was NONE! and the
website did NOT say that it was supposed to be closed yesterday!

humph!!

Don't know where you looked but it is listed on the BCIS website as being closed today.

Hey there, is there any way if you can find out if Boston BCIS will
accept AOS while the I-130 is still pending for a K3? Or if you have
to wait for approval first.

I would love to know that but it doesn't say on their website and the
phone# I have for them just rings endlessly.

Anyone know the answer to this?

Thanks
Rich

hi rete,

yes, i know that they are closed on friday, that's why i went on
thursday instead. they are closed the third friday every month.

i checked the website before going and checked the entrance of the
building before i enter...thus the frustration!
