B2 should I wait?
I am pretty certain that I cannot get a definitive answer but just looking for some opinions.
I have a B2 visa(with a waiver) which expires in November.
Normally about now I would apply for the same and given it used to take about six months for the waiver to come through, it would be granted in about November and therefore would have little or no break in continuity.
I am fully aware that the Embassy in London are only granting emergency interview appointments and that general travel to the US from the UK is just not on.
Preamble over,
Any opinions on should I complete the application now and just wait for the appointments to open up? Will this give me an advantage? Or should I just do nothing.
Any thoughts would be appreciate, again I know no one can give an actual answer.
Thanks

The only advantage is that you will be further up in the queue to be seen, thereby perhaps getting you the visa a little faster than if you waiting until they start processing again.
That's assuming they prioritize older applications when scheduling appointments.
