B1 extension / address invalid

Hello,
I am on B1 (tourist visa) and I applied to extend my stay in the US for another 4 months.
However during this process my address changed and as a result INS probably sent a
decision on my application to the old address.
Right now I do not have a receipt or anything. But I do have evidence that INS cashed
in my check.
What can I do now?
How can I learn about the decision?
I would appreacite any help on this matter.
