Default AOS - Transfer to California Service Center

I entered the USA on June 20th with a K1 Visa, got married August 14th and applied for Adjustment of Status to Permanent Resident (Green Card) on August 26th.
I've just received a Notice of Action from DHS-USCIS stating that the case has been transferred to the California Service Center.
I'd be grateful if anyone can tell me if this is good or bad news or just another step in the bureaucratic process and how long am I likely to wait for the decision ?

It is not a bad thing. Just means that Philly has too much to handle at the moment and is farming out some of its AOS apps to the Californa Service Center. Often those that are sent there don't get called for interviews but rather just get sent a green card at some point.

My husbands case (K1) was transfered to CSC and he got his greencard without an interview.
