I had my AOS interview in Manhattan yesterday morning.

We got there at 10am for a 10:30 appointment.

Got in the building at 10:15
Met my lawyer on the 8th Floor at 10:30
Sat and chatted about paperwork and anniversaries for an hour or so
Got called in at about 11:15
(nearly missed the call as the INS agent had a very soft voice and we were down a long room)
Was asked when we met ("In 1987")
Was asked when we dated ("In 1991")
Was asked when we married ("In January 1997" - and didn't state which date)
Went through the paperwork
Got stamp in Passport - told to expect GC in 6-10 months

Total time in interview 15 minutes.

Is this a record ?

The application was made in November 1999 for AOS based on marriage.
