Another CSC I-129F Approval
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I checked the CSC website today and we have been
approved! Our NOA is Aug. 12, and we had an RFE on Oct. 17, Which they
finally recieved back on Nov. 9, I called the CSC on Dec. 12, to check
our status and was told my file was still in the file room. So to get
this GREAT NEWS today that we are approved is a great Christmas wish
come true! Keith and Joanne

What is 'RFE'?
Is this the same as 'Request for Information' or 'Request For
Explanation'? What are some of the requests that people have received?
If you received one of these, can you post what it was concerning (in
general)?
Thanks, Steve

Ah, the famous blue sheet. I got one of those. Apparently the VSC
did not accept our marriage affadavit as proof. Instead, they sent a
long explanation why, including citing obscure colonial laws from the
country my wife is from (Bangladesh). Anyway, they wanted affadavits
from both our parents that they witnessed the wedding. Which I got,
though with some difficulty. After submitting the request, my wife's
I-130 was approved.
