Advice please!
I'm a 20 year old British flight attendant currently residing in the UK.
Ideally I would like to live and work in the US but am struggling to find ways in and even struggling on where to begin.
I'm looking to either apply to an american airline or start an intern ship in stockbroking as that's what career I'd like to be in permanently.
I'm just wondering what's the easiest way to get a visa leading to permanent residency for me? Would it be to apply to an american airline and hope for a H1b visa or start an intern ship over there in stockbroking?
Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you.
Any advice from British Expats that don't have a degree but have permanent residency would also be greatly received!

Start with reading this Wiki Guide. http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Pulaski's_Ways:_How_to_Live_and_Work_in_the_USA
If you see a visa that you think you might qualify for, come on back and discuss.
Personally, I can't see an American airline company doing an H1B visa for a flight attendant position. I don't think the position requires a degree...nor do you have one anyway.

An H1B for an Airhostess? Even if you had the degree or the required 12 years work experience, why would an American airline (most of which hire and fire or furlough staff at the drop of a hat) pay thousands of dollars to sponsor a foreign to do a job many Americans do happily do?
Honestly that route is highly unlikely to happen, so your best bet is to concentrate on the stockbroker option. This, however, is again unlikely to be a way in - my opinion is that pursuing that in the UK, getting a job with one of the big four banks and potentially aiming for a transfer to the US is a better long term option.
You should be prepared for this to take years to decades. not months to years.
