Default 2 types of law in US??

How come it is easy to find information what to submit to BCIS, but they
will never tell you what are the most important requirements? For example
you will never find on BCIS web site that women with kids are not allowed to
come to US to study, to come by work visa or enter any exchange program.
Because no metter what information they submit, unless they are doing REALLY
good financially BCIS will decide that they come to immigrate and refuse
their visas, but collect the fee for it. Suspicious arab guys have much
better chance to get visa, then european woman with a kid. I know they
getting pretty strict about protecting borbers against new immigrants, but
this sounds like discrrimination. Am I right?

well, since you are trying to get your girlfriend here, it is not exactly
for "study or enter any exchange program", that is why department of
state is refusing to give her a visa. because they probably see that
she is lying about "studying"

Am I talking about my girlfriend? I said women with kids. Do not change the
subject. I still think it is discrimination. Any person have to have rights
to travel. What would you say if you will come to get visa and they will
say: "You got a big ass you probably will just seat there and never come
back, plus you have a boyfriend over there - no visa for you." - as you said
they see that you have a boyfriend, who trying to get you over there.

Which planet are you on? BCIS has jailed innocent
people for months. We still live in a world where "rights"
are not universal and good people are abused just
because they are not of our "tribe". U.S. is of course not
an exception; but the U.S. does professes otherwise.
This is why they cannot put things that look bad on their
webpage.
BUT don't blame BCIS so much; they are doing what the
American people (through the Congress) have asked it
to do.

perfectly correct. if you are intending to emigrate to be with your
boyfriend
go get immigrant or dual intent visa. end of the story. you just wasting
your time rambling about that in newsgroup.

Ok. Please answer me, how many single women with kid will go to US, study,
and return back to their county? Zero. If you single woman, with kid, and
you got money for education and tickets to US, most likely it's her last
money and last hope to escape.

She can always leave kid with grandparents in her country, come to study,
and then she may return back (50/50).

I have heard a first-hand statistics. This was 3 years ago. Consulate gives
visas only to 10% of applicants. And 35-45% of people, who got visa stay in
US illegally (at least overstay).

world to US? It is rediculous! And do you suggest separate mom and kid if
mom have to study or go to work somewhere else? What kind of animal are you?
I'm loosing my beleive that US inhibited by humans. What is all this
bullshit about human rights then, coming from US? If there would not be
trouble to go back and force - nobody would violate the status.

That's bullcrap. I was a single mother (I'm still a mother, just not single anymore) and I looked into studying law in the US (years ago), because it's been a childhood dream of mine. I never viewed the US as the land of milk and honey, I am from a pretty rich country and definitely don't need the US to help me move on in life. It was just a childhood dream (that particular education). If I thought I could have managed it moneywise, I would have probably looked into it further. For several reasons I decided to not persue my dream at that point. I always liked the US as a place to be, not as a place to permanently live. I would have returned home, definitely. I'm in a much different situation now, but 'living in the US permanently' has never been a goal in itself for me, and never will be.

How on earth is a single mother with a kid, who can't work in the US -- going to support herself, and her kids with zero income for 2-3 years???

Why don't you post the reason for the denial instead of making useless accusations. BCIS always gives a reason when it denies someone a visa.

They may have saved a lot of money, won the lottery, gotten an inheritance? I'm not going into my situation from back then, but you don't know everybodies situation do you. Also, being a single mother doesn't equal poor/pathetic/etc.. Jodie Foster is a single mother too.

*stepping off soapbox now* lol

Ok. Put your hand on the Bible and tell the truth. Why does she want to get
into US so badly? Doesn't she lying about het intensions? Aren's she going
to come to US to meet sombady to get married? Does she know that been a
student means she can't work and that after finishing study she must get
back to the country?

There is no problem for anybody, even single mom with a kids to get US visa
for travel, for study, or for bussiness. You just have to convince US
authorities (Consular officer, border patrol officer, etc.), that you have
enough links to your home country and that you will return home. For
example, if this woman has his own company, and this company isn't a fake,
and she is asking to get into USA to get study, for example, in business
laws, I'm 100% positively sure she will get a visa.

Finally, everything is about cheating...

Yes. They definitely can not work for at least one year. Read visa
requirements and limitations of student visas. You can not work for first
year being in US. You can request a work permit for certain type of jobs
(primarily in-campus or research) only after one year. And this request may
be denied. It's all in BCIS website. If you are going to come to study you
should have enough money or somebody sponsoring you. And if you are on
visitor visa, you can not work as well. All your attempts to get work will
be law violation and you can be banned. Sure it does not mater that you can
not work illegally, but keyword here is ILLEGALLY.

Why you "people" trying to talk about my situation. The point is if single
mom want to get H1B visa to work in US (to cut your nonsence about support
herself and kid) she would not get it. While other people would. Here we go:
one people better then other.
And honestly hit your self over your head by your bible and tell me - is it
fair?
If you will again start talking about my situation you will be ignored.
