Strange but True
Just coming up to two years in Brisbane having moved from the UK. I have loved every minute of it so far. It just suits my personality - rugby, outdoor life, great for the kids, loads of new friends, easy to do business and so on.
I'm on holiday in the USA at the moment, the first time I have been out of Australia since emigrating. For the first time in my life I feel homesick - I cant wait to get back to get back home to Australia. I keep comparing what I see around me to what I already have at home in OZ and it always comes up short. I came to USA 10 years ago from the UK and thought it was great - now it feels like a Sh*th*le ....oh well at least I know I made the right move.
