Polly - still miss my Tuesdays in Brisbane! I remember fondly also the nights you kept this drunken mare sane whilst coming to terms with my first years here.

Oh I mean it - with Knobs on.

I will admit it has got better after a year because I have stayed over a few weekends and brought family down to force me to see a bit of the place but Monday to Thursday it seems dead to me. Small and pokey as well in the centre. But there are places for everyone and Sadelaide is not for me. As Pollyana will tell you I am a bit of cow about Brisbane as well. Sydney works for me cause it is where my family are.
