Well apart from the jetlag which seems to be doggin us all at them minute - and you'd be surprised what you can blame on it - like putting orange juice in my tea instead of milk etc - all is well in the Phoenix household.
House is fantastic - weather has been kind - Middle daughter starts college in Drama Academy in the morning.
Youngest hoping to get in this week when they go back as on hols at min.
Roley is lovely
I stopped smoking when I left the Uk and haven't touched one since.
Kids are finding ok thus far.
I remembered how to drive and where I am mostly.
Downside is dreams jeez do I have dreams I never had those in the uk - in fact I was so disappointed when I got up the other morning as I 'hadn't' had my hair cut - Doh where they coming from !!!
Registered with medicare - just tfn to do - car insurance - pah so cheap !!!
Aussie TV is rubbish - and I hardly have time to get online.

Aww shucks guys - thanks
Well 2 weeks on and I can still say all is well
Had a houswarming Friday - boy did I get drunk
My partner and my son went to a bucks do - paintballing on Sat - they still whinging about how their legs hurt and the bruises
Daughter in school now at Roleystone - big red hat - she looks cool in it!
I'm getting my bearings a little now - was in Kalamunda Sat afternoon for the corresponding hen do but kids were tired so we came away a little early.
Must meet up with the folks here - so will do the Tuesday and Thursday meets next week hopefully and to coffee over the hills - Yes Please
Still lovin it so far - despite the rain !!!
Can't wait for my container to arrive - so need some furniture in the house and some warm clothes - I feel strangley out of place wearing the only warm thing I have - emblazened Ducati fleece - everywhere I go!!

Re: One week in :)
Right - so one month in now - and yup still loving it
Havent had a chance to meet up with anyone just yet - but gimme time I will - contemplating Hillarys tomorrow but will be on motorbike so as long as ye don't mind
Anyhoo - to continue - lifes great - youngest aged 9 loves her new school in Roley - Middle daughter aged 17 - getting over leaving her bf a bit, loves drama academy and picked up a part time waitress job for spending money - Son 20 works just over the road in fuel station partime till he goes off to the mine to earn in excess of $2k a week - yes a week !!!
He has his heart set on a motor so I think thats swayed him a little.
Primary school here so on the ball it's untrue - 4 years to get assesment in the uk - 3 days for one here!!!
Tele still crap but then we don't get a chance to watch it nor post on here much either.
Do we want to go back to the uk ? - Not bloody likely
If anyone wants me to check out local stuff - do ask - I do have some free time i'd like to fill helping out.
