On this date, three years ago, we started our new life DOWN UNDER, can't believe the time has passed so quickly, and with absolutely no regrets, oh ok then, just regret not having done it sooner! YAY! (AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSSIEEEEE, OI OI OIIIIII! LOL)

We're defence, new legislation came into effect at the beginning of January to say we should've got it when our OH did, back in 2010 when we arrived!

I have just read this thread from start to finish, what a journey you have been on Jen.
Our PR visa has just been granted so we have our reccie/ visa activation trip booked for July and hope to move next September. My wife is a primary school teacher too and I work in the community/charity/voluntary sector.
We know it's not going to be easy to find work straight away but you have shown that with determination, networking and sheer determination it will work out!
I look forward to your further updates :-)

Wish we were going to Oz tomorrow. Still 6 months to reccie and 18 month until we actually go for good, hopefully it will go quickly
