I'm so bored.com...can anyone suggest anything I could do on my days off, considering I usually don't know til after 8am that I won't be working that day? I already go to the gym loads, so... Also I've friends who have young kids and don't work but I don't wanna spend my days going out for lunch or anything as I'll end up the size of a house lololol

Visit Op Shops - it keeps my wife entertained and is a cheap hobby. It also helps keep our house decluttered

They used to whiff in the UK, I dread to think how'd they'd smell here in sunny Oz! lol

Become a SES volunteer....my friends who have lived in country towns have recommended it in the past as a great way to muck in and make friends...

So where in Ireland u from - we immigrated to NZ and hoping to immigrate to Oz in a year or sooner. We are from Bangor. Cheers Karen

Originally Lisburn, but more recently Banbridge! Taught in Ards for the 6 years up til we moved here though! You not settling in NZ?

Lived in Ards too - brother lived in Lisburn. I worked for Tesco Head Office (Property Secretary). Been in NZ for 4 years. Love it but earnings not good compared to Oz (or so we hear). I lost my job a year ago (ressession) haven't found one since. Husband ichy feet - wants to skip accross to check out Oz - he's in the construction industry. Karen & Ed
